Capstone Experience
Working in the international global logistics and relocation industry for over 25 years has exposed me to different cultures, different countries and different people. Prior to Covid-19, working in this industry had allowed me travel extensively overseas multiple times a year to different regions of the world. I have been lucky enough to have visited 5 continents to attend congresses/conferences and represent my employers. During these conferences we network with agents from over the world hoping to promote our services and business. One of the most important events during these conferences is that a charity project is selected, usually a local school, where we fundraise for a specific need and then visit them to present our gift. Children are always fascinated to meet foreigners!!!. I have been lucky enough to do this extra work in Penang, Malaysia where we donated a playground and Siem Reap, Cambodia where we donated shoes and schools supplies for the entire school.  Â
Working with global logistics and relocation, particularly with used household goods and personal effects, has not only exposed me to the an array of cultures and languages, it has allowed me the privilege to work with multinational companies, different government agencies, international governmental entities, international dignitaries and even famous stars.
